ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility statement
Havenly is being developed with an accessibility-first approach and a target of WCAG 2.2 AA. The target is not a certification or a claim that every page currently conforms.
What we are building for
- Semantic landmarks and a logical heading structure.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, controls, forms and property journeys.
- Visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
- Labels, instructions, validation and useful error messages for forms.
- Responsive reflow and usability at increased text size and zoom.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and appropriate decorative-image handling.
- Readable content, sufficient contrast and controls that do not rely on colour alone.
- Status messages that can be communicated to assistive technologies.
Property and AI information
Property-confidence scores and Ask Havenly responses are decision-support features. They must not communicate certainty that underlying property information is legally, financially or physically verified. Important information should remain available as text and not be conveyed only through visual scores, colour or imagery.
Testing
Before production launch, representative buyer and agent journeys should be tested with automated checks plus manual keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, reflow, focus-order and colour-contrast testing. Testing should cover current browsers and assistive technologies used by the intended audience.
Known limitations
This product has not received a formal independent accessibility audit. Third-party services, future uploads, maps, authentication components and agent-provided content can introduce additional barriers.
Feedback
A production service should publish a monitored accessibility contact method and a clear process for reporting barriers and requesting information in an accessible format. Insert the operator's accessibility contact details before launch.
Compliance note
This statement describes design intent and current limitations. It does not certify compliance with WCAG, the Equality Act 2010 or any other legal requirement.
