PRIVACY

Privacy notice

Demo / pre-launch notice. Havenly is currently a product demonstration. It is being built so that authenticated account activity such as saved properties, enquiries and viewing requests can be stored securely in a hosted database. Do not submit sensitive identity, banking, mortgage or other confidential information through this demo.

Information we may process

Why information is used

In a production service, purposes may include account management, delivering saved-property and comparison features, forwarding enquiries and viewing requests to the relevant property professional, preventing abuse, maintaining security, and improving the service. The operator must document and select the appropriate UK GDPR lawful basis for each purpose before launch.

Who may receive information

Buyer enquiries and viewing requests may need to be shared with the agent or agency responsible for the relevant property. The production service will also need to document its hosting, authentication, communications, analytics and other processors, together with any applicable international transfers and safeguards.

Retention

Havenly follows a purpose-led retention approach: account data is needed while an account is active; saved-property and comparison records can be removed when no longer needed; enquiry and viewing information should be retained only for the transaction, support, legal or dispute purpose that requires it. Production retention schedules must be formally approved, periodically reviewed and applied through controlled deletion or anonymisation. Personal data should not be retained indefinitely simply because it may be useful later.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives individuals rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, together with rights relating to certain automated decision-making. The final production notice will explain how to exercise applicable rights and how to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Requests should be handled through a documented identity-verification and response process.

Cookies and device storage

The service may use cookies or other storage/access technologies. PECR can apply to technologies beyond traditional cookies, including web storage. Optional non-essential technologies should not be activated without the consent required by law. See the Cookies page for the current demo position.

Security

Havenly is being designed with authenticated access, database row-level security and least-privilege data access. Security controls will require formal testing, monitoring, incident response, access reviews and operational review before production launch.

Automated and AI features

Ask Havenly is decision-support and property-search functionality. It should not be treated as a survey, valuation, legal opinion, mortgage decision or guarantee of property suitability. Production documentation should explain relevant automated processing, data use, safeguards and any applicable rights.

Contact and controller details

The production operator must insert its legal name, registered/geographical address, privacy contact details and any Data Protection Officer details where applicable before collecting live customer data.

Important

This page is a pre-launch product notice, not legal advice or a final UK GDPR compliance statement. Obtain a UK data-protection and legal review before production launch.
